Wow! What great poetry. Denise literally practices writing psalms, songs and spiritual praise and worship of and to the Lord God. Having a background in theology, I see beautiful and wonderful interpretations of Scripture. All of which is of sound doctrine, in context. The Lord’s anointing flows through Denise as she “Pens her Heart.” The allegories and analogies are rich. Denise demonstrates majority as a believer and share her story which reflects much of others peoples story, meanwhile pointing to Jesus’s story.

‘The Heart’s Pen’ is inspirational and touched this poet’s heart. Reading, I felt the Lord’s presence. Denise has illustrated the Mind of God, the Heart of Jesus, and the Empowerment of the Holy Spirit in each poem she penned. The bonus for me is the exhortation to stay in the Word and let God’s perfect Will prevail. May God Continue to Bless Denise’s Writing and Life.
